Ongoing member benefit
Grouse Country Field Notes
A digital newsletter with member stories, species and habitat features, public-land planning ideas, conservation updates, and seasonal bird reports. We plan to send it more often during hunting season and less often the rest of the year.
Bird reports will distinguish agency survey results from dated member observations, identify broad regions rather than exact hunting spots, and link to original agency sources. Hunters must verify current regulations and access before heading afield.

Earned through the Quest
Species medallions tell the story.
As the program develops, verified harvests can unlock species-specific medallions, while Forest Four, Prairie Three, Ptarmigan Pair, and complete-Quest patches remain exclusive to hunters who earn them.

Enrollment is not open yet.
American Grouse Hunters is an independent paid-membership project, not a charity. Membership fees are for club benefits and operations, and are not presented as tax-deductible donations. The current form is an interest list only—no payment is collected. Final artwork, kit contents, fulfillment timing, renewal terms, conservation accounting, and policies will be published before paid enrollment begins.
